About Maxim

I am a native Russian speaker. In 2016, as I already spoke good English, my English teacher at the university asked me to help her teach Russian to non-Russian speaking international students (my university had many students from Iraq, Iran and Africa). I didn't know how to teach Russian because I speak it as a native speaker, but I started teaching it with success. I wanted to develop in this direction. I went to study to become a teacher of Russian as a foreign language. Now in 2022 I am working with students from all over the world. I have students from the USA, England, Austria, France, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Australia. So, if you want to learn Russian, my teaching experience and my knowledge will help you and I guarantee that you will improve your Russian.

About the lesson

Hi guys!

Your language level or your age don’t matter. If you are interested in the Russian language or Russian culture, I am here to help you.

My methodology is that I use a structured approach to language learning. We will use a textbook and a workbook, and I also like to combine different parts of language learning, such as grammar and speaking. This makes the learning process more efficient and interesting. For example, we can do a grammar exercise and right after it I will ask you questions in Russian so that you use the rule that we have learned in your answers. Like this we combined grammar and speaking.

By taking my courses, you will learn:
Elementary (A1): Introduce yourself in Russian, discuss food, travel, work
Pre-intermediate (A2): Talk about health, express opinions and emotions
intermediate (B1): Talk about dreams, plans, ambitions. Discuss and present arguments
Upper-intermediate (B2): Speak fluently on almost any topic, enjoy music and books in Russian
Advanced (C1): Speak fluently on any topic including economics, medicine and biology

I am glad to study with Maxim. Now I study at a school with the study of the Russian language, and in order to improve my mark for the Russian language, I decided to study additionally with Maxim. Maxim is a very good Russian language teacher. My daughter and I have been studying with him for more than 6 months and we like everything.
