About Ruth
Math can feel like an uphill battle sometimes, but I’m here to tell you—it doesn’t have to be that way. My mission as your tutor is to make math not only understandable but empowering. With my strong foundation in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and years of experience as a Teacher's Assistant in Linear Algebra and Statistics, I bring the expertise and tools needed to help you succeed. I know every student learns differently, and that’s why I tailor each lesson to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re brushing up on the basics or tackling advanced topics, I’ll provide clear explanations, patient guidance, and practical strategies to help you feel confident and capable. Beyond just solving problems, I’ll show you how math connects to real-world applications, from predictive modeling to everyday decision-making. My experience conducting research in machine learning taught me the importance of understanding concepts deeply—and I’ll help you do the same. You can trust that our sessions will be professional, focused, and supportive.
