About Andrea

I earned an Associate's in Graphic Communication and had my artworks featured in student shows in high school, college, and at Sacramento State. I have taken graphic design/art courses, an art education course, and a new media art class, and can use what I have learned in tutoring sessions.

About the lesson

I can teach how to draw cartoons, anime, and realistically and help students develop their style.

I will sincerely critique those who show me their artwork and give advice for improvement. For example, "It seems you need to work on line smoothness in this drawing."

I will also teach basic art concepts in age-appropriate lessons ( I have given art sessions to elementary students, and I am currently mentoring college students).

Students will be taught the following:
-- creating space
--shading
--coloring
--drawing emotions
--tools to practice posing and proportion
--how to be inspired
--the dos and don't of character design
--emphasis, thumbnailing, and composition
