About Sam
Hi! I’m Sam, and I’ve been dancing salsa for several years now. What started as something casual quickly became one of my favorite ways to express myself, connect with others, and just enjoy the moment. Over time, I began helping friends learn the basics, and that’s when I realized how much I love teaching too. I’m not here to show off or make things complicated. I’m here to guide you, step by step, at your pace. Whether it’s your first time dancing or you just want to feel more confident, I’ll create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to move. I take what I do seriously, but I keep the vibe friendly and relaxed. I believe that learning works best when you’re having fun and feeling good about yourself. You don’t need to have experience to start dancing, you just need a little curiosity and the right person to walk (and dance) with you through it. Let’s take that first step together.

I like to keep things simple, relaxed, and real. My classes are for anyone who wants to learn salsa from scratch or improve their moves. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before or if you already know a few steps. I adapt to your rhythm, and we go step by step, always with good energy.
A typical class starts with a quick warm-up and some basic footwork to get into the groove. Then we work on technique, rhythm, coordination, and if you want, combinations you can use when dancing with a partner or on your own. Everything builds gradually based on what you need and feel comfortable with.
What makes my classes different is the vibe. It’s not always about dancing perfectly, it’s about enjoying the process, feeling the music, and letting go. I’ll support you, correct what needs work, and celebrate your progress, because dancing is also about confidence.
These lessons are great for teens or adults, beginners, or anyone who wants to feel more comfortable dancing at parties, events, or just at home. You can join solo or with a partner, and I offer both online and in-person classes if we’re in the same city.
More than just learning steps, the goal is to connect with salsa and with yourself.
