About Olsen

About Me
-Engineering Precision & Elite Results: As an Electrical Engineering student, I mastered the exact strategies needed to score a 750+ on the SAT Math section. I also earned a prestigious National-Level STEM Scholarship through rigorous problem-solving and highly strategic exam prep.
-My Goal for You: I want to pass these exact frameworks down to my students so they can qualify for elite scholarship opportunities and gain admission to top-tier colleges.
Simplifying the Hardest Concepts: Since Math and Physics are universally feared, my job is to make them intuitive. Together, we will build a rock-solid foundation for high-stakes competitive exams, exploring shortcut calculations while deeply mastering the core logic behind them.

My Classroom Vibe
-Comfort Clears the Path: I always cultivate a friendly, low-pressure atmosphere where students feel completely comfortable. I want to remove the fear of making mistakes so you never hold back or hesitate to ask questions.
-Proven Mentorship Experience: Backed by 5 years of freelance tutoring experience—helping both peers master advanced engineering concepts and younger students build foundational math confidence.

About the lesson

Teaching Manner
Patience Meets Analytics: I blend a calm, incredibly patient approach with keen analytical observation. Whether we are drilling core algebraic foundations or cracking high-level SAT questions, I keep the session low-stress so you can think clearly under pressure.

My 4-Step Teaching Blueprint
1. Conceptual Decoding: We start by breaking down the problem to understand the actual meaning and logic behind the math—no blind memorization.
2. Procedural Mastery: Next, we focus on step-by-step accuracy to ensure you can solve the equations flawlessly.
3. The 15-Second Shortcut (Highly Recommended): I teach you elite engineering hacks and logic tricks to bypass long equations and solve complex SAT questions in under 15 seconds.
4. Targeted Reinforcement: I provide highly focused, bite-sized homework to lock in your foundation mastery before our next session.

What Sets Me Apart From Other Tutors
Bridging Concept with Speed: Most tutors either teach only theory or only shortcuts. My engineering background allows me to give you both. I ensure you deeply understand the real-world meaning behind the mathematics, and then I hand you the exact blueprint to solve it at lightning speed.
