About Luke

I am a Multi-Instrumentalist, recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, I am passionate about sharing my love for music with aspiring musicians. Teaching allows me to pass on the enthusiasm and dedication that have been central to my own musical journey.

I have been playing saxophone for 15+ years along with clarinet, and have toured around playing in numerous venues such as the Ronnie Scott’s and Caveau de la Huchette in Paris. I am also part of the Tomorrow's Warriors where we truly believe in the power of music to change lives, and I am committed to being part of that positive change for my students. My aim is to help them develop their musical skills, build a strong work ethic, and foster a genuine love for the saxophone and music in general.

Through my teaching, I hope to support each student in reaching their full potential and finding their own musical path.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I adopt a personalised approach tailored to each student's unique musical tastes and aspirations. My objective is to establish a strong foundation while fostering a deep connection between the student and the music they love, ensuring that lessons are both comfortable and enjoyable.

Drawing inspiration from my own mentors, I strive to instill a lifelong passion for music by focusing on technical proficiency, developing individual sound, and promoting self-expression and creativity.

I cultivate an environment where making mistakes is part of the learning process, providing a supportive and effective educational experience.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, I'm here to help you grow as a musician. Together, we’ll work towards your musical goals and enjoy the process of making music.
