About Sara
I hold a science degree from the United States and am based in Melbourne. I offer tutoring in math, chemistry and biology for primary and high school students. I am patient, organized and focused on helping students understand difficult concepts clearly. My goal is to build students’ confidence, improve their problem-solving skills and support them with homework, revision and exam preparation.

My approach is patient, structured and student-focused. I first identify each student’s current level, strengths and gaps, then tailor lessons to their individual needs. I use clear explanations, worked examples and guided practice to help students understand key concepts instead of just memorising answers. For exam preparation, I focus on problem-solving strategies, revision techniques and common question types.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, goals and learning needs.
As a science graduate, I have a strong academic background in science subjects and can support students across maths, chemistry and biology. My lessons are suitable for primary and high school students, including those who need help with homework, topic revision, confidence building or test preparation.
