About Hiwot

I’m an enthusiastic and supportive tutor who loves making learning fun and productive! My goal is to help students understand each topic with confidence while enjoying the process. I love helping students truly understand what they’re learning. I guide them step by step so they can see their progress and feel confident with each new concept. My Approach as a Tutor

My approach focuses on making science and math understandable and engaging. I believe that students learn best when they see how concepts connect to real life.

* I start by assessing what students already know and where they struggle.
* I use examples from everyday life (like chemical reactions in cooking or math in sports) to make abstract topics more concrete.
* I encourage active participation — students explain ideas back to me, solve mini challenges, and ask as many questions as they want.
* I use visuals, short videos, and interactive exercises to keep lessons dynamic.

A Typical Lesson Plan

1. Warm-up (5 min): Quick recap or fun question from the previous topic.
2. Concept Breakdown (15–20 min): Step-by-step explanation using simple language and analogies.
3. Practice & Interaction (15–20 min): Work through example problems or mini experiments together.
4. Wrap-Up (5–10 min): Review key ideas, correct misunderstandings, and set a small challenge or quiz for next time.
