About Mandy
I started my teaching career with Head Start teaching 3 and 4-year-old students. I am currently teaching in the public school system with kindergarten resource in special education. I have a CDA credential in Early Childhood and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a double certification in 4th through 8th grade mild moderate and social studies. I am working on an add-on certification in pre-K-3rd grade early childhood education.

I have experience teaching students in kindergarten through second grade phonics instruction. I make lessons fun with a variety of games, songs and activities that science of reading tested. Louisiana has shown significant growth in reading scores due to science of reading instruction.
