About Nethra
Hi! I’m Nethra, a Master's student at Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University, New York. I have a strong academic background in History, Political Science, Philosophy, and I love helping students make sense of complex ideas by connecting them to real-world contexts. I know how cumbersome reading classic texts can be, and I would love to help un-jumble the meaning of it with you. Intended for high school and college-level students. I try to allow my students to learn through visual associative mediums such as flowcharts, maps and videos. A typical structure would be to introduce the theory/ philosopher and associate their theories with contemporary issues, as well as historically significant ones.
What sets me apart is my international knowledge - living in 3 countries over 3 years - India, France and the United States. This has provided me with multiple perspectives, allowing me to avoid traditional biases in historical studies.
