About Hemananda

I am a Senior Software Engineer with over 18 years of experience in the ICT industry, holding an MBA and have been offering private tuitions since 1998. With my motivational and patient approach to tutoring, I have always been exceeding the expectations of my tutees. My teaching style has been a success over the last 20 years with the following steps:

1. Initiate the subject or topic based on discussion of a real life example / scenario.
2. Introduce the theoretical part of the subject or topic.
3. Explain how the theory links to the real life example / scenario.
4. Work out and explain some examples.
5. Immediate evaluation of student's understanding through questions and answers.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until satisfactory response of the student (steps 1, 2 and 3 may also be repeated if required).
7. Give homework and a brief discussion on what will be covered in the next tuition session

Note: Each tuition session starts with the correction of the previous session's homework and explanation of any problem areas, including a summing up of what was covered in the previous tuition session.

Perfect! Highly Recommended
Hermananda demonstrates excellent knowledge of his subject, he quickly engaged my son (14) who enjoyed the session which was challenging but interesting. Hermananda is polite, patient, explains clearly and in general conducts himself in a professional manner. He shows that he is able to explain concepts from several different angles, and gave me and my son useful feedback.. It is clear that he is is passionate about Computer Science and that is always a positive sign. I will surely be using him to help my son prepare for his GCSE. From parent to parent I highly recommend Hermananda for anyone looking for a good tutor. He also makes sure that Home work is set and provides revision notes on the topics he covered. I was very impressed with his teaching style. Highly recommended.
My son said to me after the lesson "Mum I like the way he explains things and he is more patient than my teacher at school, I feel like I can ask him anything if I am not sure of or don't understand, He's good"

Outcome : POSITIVE
