About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren! I have over a decade of experience teaching, tutoring, and working with young people, but my main work these days is as a Cinematographer. I may have even worked on a TV Show or Movie you've seen! At the end of the day, I am a creative, and am looking to help you find that same creativity with the subjects you need help with. I wish someone had told me when I was in school that there was more than one way to approach the tasks I was struggling with. Now I'm here to pass on that knowledge to you and help you find ways to achieve your goals without getting discouraged.

I want you to love your work! Writing doesn't have to feel like a chore. We will explore ways that make learning fun.
Generally, we'll take a look at the work that we need to complete, assess what areas are the hardest, and focus on making them feel interesting and like something you can complete!
It's difficult to imagine having fun with the tasks that seem daunting, but as a tutor I pride myself on being able to reframe challenges as areas we can exercise our creativity and find alternate paths to a final solution.
These lessons are for anyone grade PreK-College, focused on making language arts accessible to everyone.
