About Christina

As a teacher of not less than fifteen (15) years, I have proven my efficiency in handling elementary, secondary, tertiary and technical-vocational classes. I have a license to teach (Licensure Examination for Teachers- LET) in the secondary level as well as the required licenses to teach Technical-Vocational English skills qualifications through online and in-person training. My career in teaching, as well as in Customer Service, has earned me several awards namely, Outstanding Instructor, Employee of the Month (January 2008), and Strong Customer Response (2009).

I am also managing my own online IELTS preparation class, which in the last five years have produced Overseas Filipino Workers in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

I love to share stories of my former to students and that of my own to inspire my current class and in order to prove to them that learning is always within everyone's reach.

About the lesson

Using the performance-based approach in teaching, I teach my students the best strategies to use in learning English that are both practical and highly relatable which I effectively manage by hearing first-hand from the students their own experience and struggles then citing the techniques that would best address such challenges.

My teaching methodology works well with secondary students to adult learners.
