About Sourish

Hi! I'm Sourish, a student at Imperial College London. I am an experienced tutor (160+ hours, client ages: 7-17 years) and programmer (2nd OUCC, 3rd PCTC) and I love sharing my skills with others.

The critical thinking and ingenuity developed through programming are timeless skills with use beyond just coding. I'm a believer in using visual explanations to build intuition.

I work relentlessly hard at everything I do, and my mission in our sessions is to deliver the maximum value to you that I can. I believe that free time should be spent with family/friends, or learning skills - two things that will enrich your life more than any other activity can. I hold myself to high standards, and aim to always deliver.

About the lesson

I can do beginner/advanced lessons, competitive programming training, data structures & algorithms, and GCSE lessons - whatever your goal, I'm here to help you reach it.

I won't hide it; my rate is high. It's because I don't do what most tutors do, and if you simply want to get a bit better for your exam or get ahead in school, I'm not for you.

My focus is on developing a passion, showing you REAL programming, and helping you re-wire your brain to make it problem solve better and achieve incredible things - not to just store more knowledge. I spend 45-60 minutes preparing and reflecting for every lesson.

This attention to detail is what makes my sessions so effective and unique, and it's why I have to charge 1.5-2x as much.

I have a toolkit full of tips and tricks ready to share with my students to help them reach their goal ever faster. One of my students even competed in a national competition (PCTC 2023) and won a cash prize of £300.

But ultimately, I have one key principle - create an enjoyable experience. I develop a friendship with each of my students to make sure they are comfortable during our sessions and feel passionate about the work.
