About Lindsay
I'm a former staff writer for a small local newspaper who was given an opportunity prior to earning my degree to write a test article. My editor gave me the assignment of joining a group of adventurous fishermen involved in dropping artificial reefs into the Gulf of Mexico.
I had no training, no experience, and no knowledge of reef-building. Regardless of these limitations, I was able to successfully pull together an understandable and accurate rendition of the process.
How did I do this? I have an immense love of the written word. I have a passion for translating the abstract into concrete descriptions. And I was given a chance to shine. I can help you do the same.
Since then, I have earned my Master's in Learning & Instruction and tutored college students in essay writing. I also have an undergraduate degree in the social sciences.
We can do this! Writing is fun. It doesn't have to be hard. It is simply moving information from one form to another. I'm excited to meet with you! Let's get started.
