About Aleesha
When I was ten, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher. This is because I want to inspire children and mould them into kind-hearted people who have the confidence to take the world by storm and to become successful individuals who are proud to be themselves. I want them to feel like they could be larger than life, having the chance to live their dreams and desires. Teachers have always been people whom I can confide in, and I trust them wholeheartedly. I want to be someone who can make a difference in the world, and I feel that I can do that if I were to become a teacher.

I am a second-year Forensic and Medical Sciences student at the University of Bradford. I have worked with children before, as a volunteer when I was doing my A Levels, where I used to walk up to the nearby primary school and help students with their reading skills. I helped them understand that, through reading, they had the ability to sit in one place and travel all over the world at the same time. They could venture through time and space between the pages of a novel and experience things they couldn’t do in person. My lessons will be one hour long. I can tell you that our lessons will not be boring and you will end up enjoying learning. From this job, I hope to gain the ability to help children achieve the ability to be the best they can be. I want to be able to show them that, through hard effort and dedication, it is possible to raise your grades and get the top marks.
