About Gianna
Hi, I’m Gianna. I’m a second-year law student, currently working towards a Master’s degree, and hoping to specialize in family and medical law. I also hold a BHSc and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in biosciences, and I bring experience as a business owner to my work.
I’m very ambitious, studious, and dedicated — and I know how to study effectively. My favorite law papers so far have been Statutory Interpretation, Legal Reasoning and Writing, and Tikanga, and I enjoy helping students grasp these subjects in a practical and engaging way.
As someone on the autism spectrum, I understand the importance of focus, structure, and perseverance, and I bring that same dedication to helping my students succeed. Having recently navigated the challenges of first-year law myself, I know how daunting it can feel to progress into second year. I’m here to support your journey, provide practical guidance, and help you build confidence in your studies.
My goal is to make learning law manageable, clear, and empowering — whether it’s understanding cases, statutory interpretation, or developing effective study strategies. I take pride in creating structured, efficient sessions that focus directly on your needs.

My Tutoring Approach
Hi, I’m Gianna, a second-year law student with an A-grade average. My tutoring is tailored to your needs and focuses on efficiency, clarity, and practical understanding.
How I Work:
Free 20-minute introductory chat – We start by discussing your learning goals, struggles, and preferred learning style so I can tailor sessions to you.
Preparation before our session – A few days prior, you can send me the questions, concepts, or topics you want to focus on. This allows us to dive straight into the areas you need most.
Structured sessions – We work through case readings together, I provide clear explanations, and I can create notes or summaries from your lectures for easy reference.
Statutory interpretation support – I can share tools, tips, and notes to help you master statutory interpretation effectively.
Session Length: Typically 60–90 minutes, flexible to your needs.
