About Katie
My name is Katie, and I am a second year Physics student at the University of Oxford. I got A*s in both my A Levels in Maths and Physics, and I am confident in the GCSE and A Level syllabuses. Teaching and tutoring are my passion – I love to help others learn and I’m good at it – I tutored maths, English and the 11+ for two years! I can also give specific advice on Oxford Physics admissions and the PAT as a current Oxford student who was (obviously) successful at admissions! Each lesson will be specifically tailored to you, your needs and your learning style.

In our lessons, our main aim will be to get you to be confident in all the topics, especially the ones that you currently don’t understand and to improve your exam technique to maximise your grades. Discussing, summarising and reexplaining these subjects will be one way that we will go about this, as well as going through past exam questions and making revision materials.
Typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour, but I am willing to do between 30 and 90 minutes if it is more suitable for you.
Tutoring experience: tutoring maths and English to 4- to 14-year-olds, as well as the 11+, for two years.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level Maths and Physics students of any level, and Oxbridge Physics applicants.
