About Maya
My passion for Mandarin has brought me to Cambridge University to further my studies at degree level, after achieving an A* at A Level.
As a non-native speaker, I began studying Mandarin from scratch, so am able to understand problems frequently experienced by students and offer solutions and advice.
In the past, I have been chosen by teachers to tutor multiple younger students in Mandarin, which has allowed me to develop my approach to tutoring.

Lessons tailored to meet the needs of individual students (I can tutor at A Level or below). I can help students improve their spoken and written Mandarin, using techniques developed for myself and other tutees (for example, Quizlet flashcards). Happy to look through students' existing work with them to troubleshoot and better understand mistakes. Session length 30 mins to 1 hour (or as the student requires), online.
