Qualified Mathematics teacher, accountancy and finance at Undergraduate level now looking to tutor students from primary age to secondary. I can also prepare for entrance exams for king Edwards and many other schools. I have Prepared students for 11+ too

About the lesson

I have differentiated my lessons in the past in order to cater for the needs of all students as I believe every student has the ability to succeed and reach its potential. Currently I am focusing on the needs of some children with special educational needs at a girls school in Harborne. I am closely researching how I can help students succeed who have special needs such as English as an additional language and literacy difficulties. I am altering the worksheets and implementing strategies in my lesson plan so I can provide as much support as I can for these learners. I believe everyone has an equal right to education regardless of their needs.

I also managed classroom environments while customising learning plans for students of varying abilities and backgrounds and providing positive role modelling.I successfully encouraged and developed thoughtful young students while simultaneously equipping them with the necessary tools and techniques to advance into the increasingly learning-intensive school years. In addition, I excel at using my strong communication, creativity, and motivational skills to encourage student learning, progress, and engagement.

Since I started my GCSE qualification up until now (2009-2019), I have been providing tuition to students who are studying for the 11+ entrance exams and students who are now revising for GCSE and A-Level exams. I have achieved and contributed a lot to pupils knowledge and I was also responsible for two students passing their King Edwards Entrance exam(Edgbaston) on a Sports scholarship. This was an immensely proud moment for me as I had also prepared them for the interview stage in which they had gained success.

I am currently attending professional development programmes every week as well as whole school issues programme with my university, where I participate in courses which further increase my teaching knowledge as well as improving my instruction.
