I am a self-taught artist who dabbles in everything. I do portraits, pencil sketches, pen and ink sketches, and watercolor. I also sculpt with polymer clay, and I make jewelry.

About Ananya
I tutor a variety of common core subjects like reading and writing. I mostly work with elementary to middle school kids. So I’m incredibly patient. I work with different mediums and I’m self-taught in almost all of them. I’m aware of the excitement and frustration that comes with learning new styles. I can help get through the stress and fear, to making something meaningful.

I am a self-taught artist who has loved drawing for as long as I can remember. I can teach portrait drawing, pencil sketches, watercolor and pen and ink sketches. I also teach sculpting with polymer clay, jewelry making, paper quilling, and scrapbooking. When we want to draw something, we want it to be a masterpiece, we want perfection, I know I do. This can really intimidate people from pursuing art even as a hobby. My goal is to make it seem more accessible to everybody. Depending on the style you want to learn, we would start with the basics, typically spending a week on it, and then applying those skills, like shading, texture, gradients etc. before applying them to complete a specific project of the student’s choosing. I look forward to exploring our creativity together.
