About Joel
I'm currently a medical student. I play with a few local bands and have met many amazing musicians in my life. I believe that music is a language that communicates emotions on a deeper level. I believe the best way to learn it is with the mindset and curiosity of a toddler learning to speak.

I emphasize on learning to translate emotions into music simultaneously with developing good technique. I believe teaching should be an inclusive process where the student and the teacher grow together, and the teacher as the one who has already been on the journey has to offer pointers in the right direction, based on the musicality and personality of the student.
