Imagine sitting in your living room while we break down a complex song into simple, manageable movements. I check your guitar tuning and maintenance before we pick up the rhythm of a new piece. Drawing from my 13 years gigging, I guide you through the nuance of reading tabs and sheet music. Whether you are an exam candidate or just a hobbyist, we focus on the mechanics of your hands.
I have 10 years of experience helping people translate what they hear in their heads onto the fretboard. This hands-on process ensures you understand the theory behind every chord transition we practice. We adjust our focus based on your interests to keep the session feeling fresh.

Playing guitar started as a quiet obsession in my bedroom before it eventually became my life on the chanson circuit. I admit that I spent more time figuring out chords by ear than reading books.
My teaching style is informed by 13 years of gigging and a deep love for the craft. I have helped 81 students navigate the basics of fingerpicking and blues progressions over the last decade. Teens and hobbyists often come to me when they are tired of online tutorials that do not make sense.
