About Kevin
I have worked in academic research where I gain a Doctorate after which I became a teacher. I have taught in a highly prestigious academic school where I was promoted to Head of Department. My students have typically both enjoyed my lessons and achieved excellent examination results. During this time I have also tutored a small number students privately and now I have retired I would like to tutor a more students.

I use various approaches and resources in order to ensure students gain a complete understanding of the subject being covered. I then follow this up with both verbal written questions which allows me to probe the student level of understanding and if required to revisit aspects of the topic being covered. I like student to then do some examination questions which we review as a recap in the following session. This develops the student's understanding of the subject and builds their confidence which ensured they makes the maximum progress possible. Thus my students consistently improve the final examination grade.
