About Joseph
I have recently retired after 20 years working in West Africa as a Managing Director of a Cashew nut processing Company. Mandarin is my mother tongue and I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Shanghaiese (dialect of Shanghai).
During my working period in West Africa, I have the opportunity to visit China on mnay occassions as the company was sourcing many technical equipment from China.
Being back in London enables me to spend lots of time with my family but has also made me realise how much I miss working and would love to spend some time teaching people conversational and business Mandarin or conversational Cantonese. In addition I am able to offer an opportunity to experience and delve into Chinese culture, history and most importantly Chinese food!
Other Qualifications :
I took the A level English Literature in 1971 and obtained Grade B. I studied this course in a private school as an adult. I cannot locate the certificate.
