About Ahmed

I'm a Senior QA Engineer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, working across international teams and high-impact projects. I specialize in building robust automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium WebDriver, and have led QA teams to successfully scale testing processes and improve product quality. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in fast-paced environments where I’ve designed and implemented test strategies, integrated automated tests into CI pipelines, and driven test coverage and efficiency improvements across web and mobile platforms. My background also includes mentoring QA engineers, leading QA teams, and teaching Quality Assurance as a lecturer for over two years. I hold a Master’s degree in Engineering and speak English, Ukrainian, and Arabic fluently. My communication style is clear and supportive, and I strive to make every session informative, engaging, and tailored to your personal goals. Whether you're just starting in QA or looking to level up your automation skills, I’m here to guide you with practical insights, structured learning, and ongoing support. Your success is my priority.

About the lesson

About My Lessons:
As a results-driven Senior QA Engineer with over 7 years of experience in both manual and automation testing (frontend and backend), I offer personalized mentorship designed to help learners grow into confident, job-ready QA professionals.

Teaching Method & Techniques:
My approach is practical, adaptive, and project-based. I focus on hands-on learning with real-world examples using industry-standard tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Postman. Each lesson is tailored to your goals and current skill level, with a custom roadmap to guide your progress, whether you're a beginner or an experienced QA looking to specialize in automation.

I also incorporate the use of modern tools like AI coding agents to speed up test development and debugging, and help mentees understand how to apply AI efficiently in real QA workflows.

Typical Lesson Plan:
- Each session generally includes:

- A brief review of previous progress

- A new concept or tool (e.g., writing Playwright tests, integrating Cypress in CI/CD, writing API tests)

- Hands-on coding or test creation exercises

- Feedback, Q&A, and discussion of real-world use cases

- Homework or practice tasks aligned with your roadmap

- For advanced learners, we dive deeper into areas like building automation frameworks from scratch, BDD practices, code reviews, and leadership guidance.

What Sets Me Apart:
I’ve led QA teams, built test frameworks from the ground up, and mentored engineers professionally, so I understand both technical depth and career progression.

I focus on practical skills that are directly applicable in real QA roles, not just theory.

I offer individualized roadmaps, guiding each mentee from their current level toward clear milestones (e.g., first automation job, senior QA role, leadership).

My lessons are ideal for:

- Beginners entering QA from other fields

- Manual testers transitioning into automation

- Junior/mid-level QA professionals looking to advance their skills

- Engineering students or coding bootcamp graduates

- Anyone preparing for a QA role or technical interview

Whether you're aiming to write your first test or lead a QA team, I’ll guide you step-by-step through your automation journey.

I recently had a lesson with Ahmed on QA automation, specifically focused on Playwright, and it was an excellent experience. Ahmed explained everything clearly and guided me step by step through the process of writing Playwright tests from scratch. His teaching style made complex concepts easy to understand, and I left the session feeling much more confident in using Playwright for test automation.

The lesson was not only informative but also very practical, with real examples that I could apply directly to my work. Ahmed’s expertise and patience made the learning experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their QA automation skills.
