About Hawon
I am a senior in high school who was born in Mexico, Ensenada, and raised in Tijuana. I am proficient in both English and Spanish, so I can correct you on pronunciation or how to make your Spanish more conversational. Not only that, but I can focus on your Spanish reading and help you comprehend better. Currently, I am taking AP Spanish Language and Culture, so I am also learning different Spanish styles. My school has a tutoring program where I tutor AP Psychology, Spanish 2, US History, and English Foundations. Before signing up to this website, I also tutored someone in Spanish 3.

I like to give lectures while using imagery and storytelling the type of explanations (if you are talking to a person from this perspective then you can. . .) I tend to focus on visuals and hands-on learning since that is my learning style as well but can easily adapt to different students' learning styles.
For lessons, I want to first meet with students and discuss availability, learning style, and what they are struggling the most with so that I can help them with that the most while also accommodating their needs. Then I will message students a day or two before our lessons to ask what they are currently learning and having a hard time with so that I can prep a proper class focusing on that specific topic. I can teach students that are in between middle school and high school so Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3.
