About Rob
I am a professional software engineer with 18+ years of experience across London's tech and finance sectors. I hold a First Class BSc in Cybernetics & Virtual Worlds from the University of Bradford – a computer science degree focused on AI, simulation, and virtual environments. I have mentored junior developers and helped students build real coding skills. I love teaching because I remember how frustrating learning to code can be alone. I want to help you get there faster, with less frustration and more confidence.

I break down complex coding concepts into small, manageable steps. Each lesson is 60 minutes – enough time to learn something new and practise. I hold a First Class BSc in Cybernetics & Virtual Worlds (computer science equivalent) and have 18+ years as a professional software engineer. Lessons are for ages 9-18, from complete beginners to students preparing for GCSE or A-Level computer science. I teach Python, JavaScript, Java, and web development (HTML/CSS/React). My approach is patient and supportive – we work at your pace, with hands-on coding in every session.
