About Róża

I started conducting classes for individual students as a student of Applied Linguistics (ILS at the University of Warsaw), but with time this activity turned into an undisguised passion and source of satisfaction. I had the pleasure to start the adventure with foreign languages of still fledgling two-year-old toddlers, help in the preparation for CAE, discuss world events during conversations that require precision with other translators, and manage the art of writing essays as part of the Academic Writing subject at one of the American universities.

About the lesson

my philosophy of teaching languages is to show their purposefulness: to facilitate contact, building bridges between people, cultures, worlds. I emphasize that learning a language can be pure pleasure and a time when there is no artificial pressure distorting the meaning of learning foreign speeches. language is a tool that serves the one who uses it, not the other way around. and in the effective mastery of foreign speech, one of the key elements is exposure to it: for this reason, from the moment 0, i.e. the fact of establishing the first classes, I try to expose the student to the language in the maximum possible way: both during classes and during "in-between" - which is important especially in the Polish context and the relatively limited presence of English in the life of an average inhabitant of the Vistula country. It is easy for me to establish an understanding with the student, his needs, motivations and linguistic preferences - so as to develop an optimal model of classes, their intensity, orientation and methodology.
