About Elise
I believe every student deserves success and being a classroom teacher I know how hard GCSE and English is.
I love being a teacher and want to help more students be happy, successful and enjoy English. In a classroom of 30 plus students, you can't offer the same impact 1-1 tutoring can provide and the accelerated progress regular tutoring can have.
You may need tutoring to help build confidence in reading and writing, might want extra support to access your school curriculum. You may be sitting your GCSE's and want help securing a pass or above, or you might be resitting English Language.
For those reasons and beyond, I can personally tailor sessions that suit your needs and help you.
I promise I am friendly, supportive and I am there to help you succeed and achieve.

Building on 9 years of classroom experience and an MA in education specialising in children's reading and writing, I can offer impactful, tailored and personalised intervention for A-Level, GCSE (both Eduqas and AQA) and KS3 skills boosters to support reading and writing skills. Adaptive to the student and family needs, I can offer in person or online sessions of 60 minutes. While all sessions will include the pillars of good teaching- modelling/instruction, practice and feedback, regular and timely assessment, I work with you and your child's school to support their classroom learning and will develop a unique scheme of sessions, set personalised targets and build great trusting relationships along the way to secure progress.
