About Bhavana

Namaste! I am the Founder of Shloka Lahari, an initiative dedicated to enabling chanting for all by making the learning of Sanskrit shlokas accessible, structured, and enjoyable for people of all ages.

As a passionate Shloka Chanting Instructor, I teach children and adults across the world, helping them learn traditional chants with a focus on correct pronunciation, clarity, rhythm, and confident recitation.

My classes cover a wide range of sacred texts and chants, including the Bhagavad Gita, Vishnu Sahasranama, Lalita Sahasranama, Sanskrit shlokas, stotrams, and other traditional compositions. I believe that anyone can learn to chant with the right guidance, patience, and consistent practice—regardless of age or previous experience.

Through Shloka Lahari, my goal is to preserve and share the beauty of our traditional chanting practices while making them approachable for modern learners. Whether you are a beginner, a parent looking to introduce your child to shlokas, or an adult wishing to reconnect with Sanskrit chanting, I aim to provide a supportive and comfortable learning experience.

Students from all age groups and time zones are welcome to begin their chanting journey with Shloka Lahari.

About the lesson

Welcome to Shloka Lahari – Enabling Chanting for All.

These online classes are designed for kids, adults, beginners, and anyone who wishes to learn and experience the beauty of Sanskrit shlokas and traditional chanting. Whether you are starting from the basics or looking to improve your pronunciation and chanting, the classes are tailored to your learning level and pace.

You can learn Bhagavad Gita, Vishnu Sahasranama, Lalita Sahasranama, Sanskrit shlokas, stotrams, bhajans, kirtan, devotional verses, and other traditional chants with a strong focus on correct Sanskrit pronunciation, clarity, rhythm, and confident chanting.

The classes are conducted online through Zoom or Google Meet, making them accessible to students across the world and all time zones. Both group and personalised 1:1 sessions are available. Students also receive learning materials and audio recordings to support regular practice outside the class.

My aim through Shloka Lahari is to make chanting approachable and enjoyable for everyone. Each class is structured to help students learn step by step, understand the correct way of chanting, and gradually build confidence and consistency in their practice.
