About Myra
With a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Conducting and over 8 years of teaching experience, this tutor is dedicated to preparing singers for studio recording success. They focus on styles such as R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music, tailoring lessons to modern industry standards. Students learn critical studio skills including microphone technique, vocal compression, and the creative use of auto-tune. Layering harmonies to enhance recordings is a core part of the curriculum. The tutor also teaches how to work seamlessly with producers for a polished final product. Experience includes coaching school students, emerging artists, and adult vocalists aiming for commercial release. Lessons are designed to balance technical vocal training with practical studio application. Students build confidence and artistry in a supportive and motivating environment. My teaching method combines solid vocal technique with practical audition and performance preparation. We select songs tailored to your voice and the auditions you’re aiming for. I teach strategies to calm nerves and manage performance anxiety. Stage presence training helps you connect with your audience and feel confident on stage. I work mainly with adult beginners and advanced teens who want to improve quickly. I challenge you to perform under pressure and grow through each experience. Together, we develop breath control, pitch accuracy, and emotional delivery. Choosing the right repertoire is key to making a strong impression. I create a safe and positive space for learning and growth. You’ll build confidence to face auditions and live performances without fear. My approach balances technical skill-building with performance readiness. Each lesson is focused on helping you succeed in real-world singing situations.
