About Guadalupe

I'm Guada Alvarez, a professional singer with a Bachelor Degree in Music Composition, from Argentina. I have more than 12 years of experience in singing a vast variety of genres, from Lyrical, Melodic and Choral Singing to Jazz, R&B, Soul, Gospel, International Rock and more.

In all these years, I got to learn and mix diverse singing technics that helped me develop my own and personal way of singing. I consider we have to keep learning constantly, in order to improve ourselves.

I've been teaching singing since 2016, working with children as young as 8 and seniors with over 50 years of life experience. I find teaching to be a fun and engaging activity, and I enjoy helping people achieve their goals and build confidence in themselves through singing.

About the lesson

Hello, my future intrepid singer!

In my lessons, I will help you learn properly how to control your voice in every aspect:

1) Different 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 technics (remember: Breath is the solid foundation of our singing)

2) A wide variety of 𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 exercises, using all the vowels, diverse sounds and very interesting intervals.

3) 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄: We will work with as many songs as you want in order to establish and achieve progressive goals.

4) 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 on the stage: We will work on how to gain confidence in a public performance worthy of an ovation!

5) Optional: If you're curious, I'd be delighted to give you a glimpse into how the voice and music work. I can give you some 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎𝐑𝐘 to help you get a better grasp of music.

Lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes; we will adapt the content to the length. Depending on your availability, I recommend taking a 45 - 60 min lessons, so we have a good amount of time for going through each section thoroughly.

I will also adapt the lessons to your level: people from all ages and levels are more than welcome to embark on this adventurous world of singing!

Feel free to book your 1st free lesson, in which we will get to know each other, and you will be able to share with me your passions, ideas and goals.
