About Elise

I completed a PhD in Vocal Performance and Music Expression after years of focused training in vocal technique, stage communication, and artistic interpretation during my academic studies. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through personalised coaching and supportive instruction. Teaching singing allows me to combine creativity, emotional communication, and mentorship in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident through music and self-expression.

My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, healthy vocal development, and patience. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to emotional exploration and creative interpretation. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen breathing control, vocal clarity, expressive phrasing, and performance readiness. Creating a welcoming and motivating learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as an educator.

Outside teaching, I continue practising vocals, exploring different musical traditions, and studying performance methods that help keep my lessons inspiring and engaging. Music remains a powerful source of creativity and emotional connection in my life. One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured performers through their musical journey. Helping learners discover confidence through singing continues to inspire me greatly.

About the lesson

My singing lessons focus on helping students build a healthy and expressive voice while developing confidence through supportive and structured vocal training. I teach breath support, vocal placement, articulation, pitch accuracy, resonance, phrasing, and tone shaping using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include harmony work, vocal warm-ups, stage preparation, emotional interpretation, and vocal flexibility activities that help students improve naturally through regular practice. I create a positive and comfortable learning environment where learners feel safe exploring their voice freely without pressure or fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports both technical growth and artistic individuality together.

Beginners receive patient guidance with breathing exercises, vocal projection, simple melodies, and foundational techniques that build healthy habits gradually over time. Intermediate learners improve expressive delivery, harmony awareness, vocal control, and smoother transitions through guided studies and organised musical exercises. Advanced students focus on stylistic versatility, emotional storytelling, advanced repertoire, and stage confidence through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, personality, and musical interests so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Singing should feel uplifting, expressive, and rewarding. I encourage students to trust their natural voice while developing confidence through supportive feedback and consistent practice. Many learners become more comfortable performing and expressing emotion through music as their vocal abilities continue improving naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both vocal technique and artistic confidence while enjoying the process of musical growth.
