About Janey

I have a Bachelor Degree in Vocal Performance, and a Master's degree in Music Therapy. Vocal performance is a passion of mine, and I truly believe anybody can be taught to sing. A lot of people feel they can sing alone but not in public and that’s only because they are lacking the confidence! When nerves kick in, the vocal cords tense and tighten!

About the lesson

Lessons will be tailored to individual goals and needs. Lessons will typically feature vocal warm-ups, song choice and preferences. We will also explore playing/freedom with the voice, as well as discussions on artistic choices. We can also work on vocal confidence and vocal health.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Janey.

Perfect! Janey was very friendly and encouraging to my 9 year old daughter. Made learning fun whilst still getting the techniques across. She’s so excited for the next lesson!
