About Ivy
My passion for singing began when I first experienced the emotional power of music performed through the human voice. I became curious about how singers develop vocal strength and expressive ability. This interest encouraged me to study vocal music more deeply and eventually complete a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance.
For the past 10 years, I have guided students who want to improve their singing ability and feel more confident using their voice. Some learners are beginners who want to explore singing for the first time, while others want to strengthen their technique and performance skills. My teaching style focuses on patient guidance and supportive encouragement.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing singing and exploring different musical styles. I enjoy studying vocal techniques and learning new songs that expand my musical understanding. Helping students discover their voice and express themselves through music remains one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching career.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop healthy vocal habits and strong musical expression. Each lesson begins with breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups that prepare the voice for singing. These exercises help improve breath support, pitch accuracy, and vocal flexibility. Beginners learn how to maintain good posture and control their breathing so they can produce a clear and steady tone.
As students gain confidence, we begin practicing songs that match their vocal range and musical interests. I guide learners in understanding melody, rhythm, and emotional expression in music. Students practice controlling their tone, volume, and phrasing so their singing becomes more expressive and natural. Listening exercises help students notice how small adjustments can improve their vocal sound.
Singing improves through patience and consistent practice. I encourage students to practice warm-ups regularly and focus on steady improvement rather than perfection. Over time, learners develop stronger vocal control, clearer tone quality, and greater confidence when performing music.
