About Ariana
Hi, I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. My specialty is a cappella singing, vocal arrangement, and vocal percussion. I have always loved how a cappella groups create full, rich music using nothing but their voices.
I teach pitch accuracy, harmony blending, vocal percussion, and basic arranging for group vocal performance. Many of my students are part of school or community a cappella groups looking to sound tighter and more professional. We work on both individual technique and how each voice fits into the larger group sound.
I once coached a high school a cappella group that sounded talented individually but messy and unbalanced as a group. We spent weeks on blending exercises and tightened their vocal percussion until the rhythm finally locked in together. They went on to win their first regional a cappella competition that same year.
There is something special about music made entirely by voice. I would love to help your group, or your own voice, find that same magic.

My teaching approach focuses on a cappella singing and group vocal arrangement. Without instruments to rely on, every vocal part carries much more weight, and we train accordingly. We start with strong pitch accuracy, since staying in tune without accompaniment demands a very reliable ear.
Vocal percussion is also a key part of my lessons, giving students the tools to create rhythm entirely through the voice. Harmony blending gets close attention, since a cappella groups rely on tight, balanced vocal layers to sound full and complete. I also teach basic arranging, so students understand how a song is broken into different vocal parts.
Some students have strong solo voices but struggle to blend into a group sound, so I train their ear to listen as much as they sing. Others are natural rhythm keepers who pick up vocal percussion quickly but need work on melodic accuracy. I dedicate myself to refining both skills so every student can thrive in a group setting.
A cappella singing turns the human voice into an entire band. Let's build that sound together.
