About Lily
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Vocal Performance. I offer personalized lessons for students of all levels—whether you're in school, college, or already working in the arts. My specialty lies in musical theater and Broadway performance, where I focus on expressive singing, character acting, and commanding the stage. I help singers develop strong belt technique, vocal agility for quick transitions, and a natural stage presence. Each lesson is designed to match your voice, your goals, and your performance needs. We also work on ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to build complete musicianship. I put a strong emphasis on safe, healthy vocal techniques that protect and strengthen your voice. My approach is interactive and supportive. I create a space where you can explore, take risks, and grow with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for a role or just starting out, I’ll guide you every step of the way. My teaching approach to singing focuses on building both skill and confidence, no matter your level. I work especially well with adult beginners and advanced teens who want to grow their voice and performance. Lessons are structured but flexible, tailored to your pace and goals. I offer full support for audition preparation—from song choice to final run-through. We’ll work on vocal technique, breathing, tone, and control.
Together, we’ll manage performance anxiety through simple, repeatable exercises. You’ll learn how to stay calm, focused, and expressive on stage. I also guide you in developing strong stage presence and connecting with your audience. Repertoire selection is a key part of my method—choosing songs that suit your voice and style makes a big difference. We rehearse with purpose, using feedback and repetition to refine every detail.
My sessions aim to make you feel prepared and proud. You’ll walk into your next performance or audition with clarity and control. I support each student in reaching their personal best and standing out with their unique voice. Let’s get you ready to impress, one confident note at a time.
