About Garrett
I am an experienced vocal coach with a deep passion for music and over 10 years of experience in helping students find their unique voice. My expertise lies in vocal range expansion, breath control, and honing the subtle techniques that make a singer truly stand out. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to each student’s needs, ensuring that they not only improve their singing but also gain confidence in their abilities.
Outside of teaching, I’m an avid reader with a particular interest in music history and biographies of famous artists. I believe that understanding the lives and challenges of iconic musicians can inspire my students and provide valuable lessons beyond just technique. Reading also allows me to continuously learn and bring fresh insights into my teaching approach.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, which provides a perfect balance to my musical life. The tranquility of nature inspires creativity and allows me to return to my work with a refreshed mind. Additionally, I love watching movies, especially those with powerful soundtracks, as they offer a rich blend of storytelling and music that I find deeply inspiring.

With 10 years of experience as a vocal coach, I’ve developed a teaching style that emphasizes both technical skill and personal expression. My lessons are carefully structured to help students master vocal range expansion and breath control—two essential components for any singer. I focus on these areas because they form the foundation for versatile and resilient vocal performance, enabling students to explore a wide range of musical styles with confidence.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of my students, particularly school-aged learners who are just beginning their musical journey. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with their voice. Whether working on scales, song interpretation, or breathing exercises, I ensure that each student receives personalized attention to address their unique strengths and challenges.
Beyond technique, I strive to foster a genuine love for singing in my students. Music is more than just hitting the right notes—it’s about conveying emotion and telling a story. My lessons aim to build not only strong vocal abilities but also the confidence and stage presence necessary for effective performance. Through consistent practice and positive reinforcement, I help my students grow as singers and performers, preparing them for any musical opportunity that comes their way.
