About Kate
I am a passionate guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience in band coaching and ensemble leadership. My background in **Bachelor of Music Education (Guitar Focus)** has equipped me with strong technical and pedagogical skills to teach students of all levels. I believe that learning guitar should be both inspiring and practical, connecting theory to real-world performance. In my lessons, students not only master techniques but also learn how to play collaboratively in groups and ensembles. I guide them through arranging covers, composing original pieces, and developing their own musical identity. My sessions emphasize listening, coordination, and timing—skills that are essential for great musicianship. I also support students who want to explore powerful, energetic, and expressive guitar styles, helping them refine their tone and stage confidence. My approach encourages experimentation while maintaining discipline and structure. Every lesson aims to inspire passion, build skill, and nurture individuality. My ultimate goal is to make students not just skilled guitarists but true musicians who enjoy every note they play.
