About Imeh
Hello! My name is Imeh Akpan. I am an excellent and patient tutor with great passion for the hearing impaired. I have taught Sign Language both in ASL and NNS to the hearing impaired and to hearing students, and many of them are able to get jobs with the language or help a family member who is hearing impaired. I also have experience teaching children and teenagers as well.
I have been doing live translation from ASL/NNS to English Language and other local languages.
I believe that there are diverse teaching methods to help students learn and with patience and understanding, I always create a conducive learning environment for all my students to learn in.

My teaching method is very practical and illustrative in nature. Easy to understand with real life examples for proper understanding. I love an interactive class and love my students to be very active and bold to ask questions. There’s plenty of room for improvement and learning with me.
