About Chidinma
Economics is one of those subjects where the gap between understanding and memorizing makes all the difference especially at university level. I'm an economics graduate with a BSc in Economics, and I tutor students across microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic theory, with a focus on building the kind of deep understanding that holds up under exam pressure. Economics has always fascinated me for one reason: it explains almost everything. From policy decisions to everyday consumer behavior, the frameworks we study have real explanatory power. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that perspective, and to help students see economics not as a set of models to memorize, but as a lens for understanding the world.

Do you find economics theory abstract, or struggle to connect concepts to real-world applications? I help university-level students build genuine understanding, not just exam technique.
With a BSc in Economics, I tutor across micro and macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic theory, tailoring every lesson to your specific module and learning goals.
My approach
I start each lesson by identifying exactly where you're stuck, then build up from first principles, using diagrams, worked examples, and past paper questions to make concepts click. I believe in active learning: we work through problems together rather than me just talking at you.
Sessions are structured but flexible. A typical 1-hour lesson covers one core topic in depth, with time at the end to consolidate and preview what's next.

These lessons are designed for undergraduate and graduate economics students who want to strengthen their understanding, prepare for exams, or get on top of challenging coursework. Whether you're falling behind or aiming for a distinction, I can help.
Practical details
All lessons are held online via video call. I'll share my screen to work through problems and notes in real time. Sessions run for 1 hour — enough time to make real progress without burning out.
