About Maya
I’m a dedicated English tutor with over 4 years of experience helping children learn to read. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Professional Writing. My teaching is simple and fun. I focus on engagement.
I have a passion for children’s books and storytelling. I use picture books to make lessons lively. Stories help children understand language. They also inspire imagination.
I teach emergent readers and early elementary students. I help them improve reading comprehension. We also work on phonological awareness. This builds strong skills.
My lessons include interactive storytelling and play. Children enjoy learning through activities. This keeps them interested. They gain confidence.
