About Rachel
I’m an experienced guitarist with a deep passion for music and teaching. With over four years of experience in guitar instruction, I’ve had the privilege of working with students across various skill levels and genres. My journey with the guitar began years ago, and it has evolved into a lifelong commitment to both performing and teaching. This experience has given me a broad understanding of different musical styles, enabling me to offer diverse and engaging lessons.
My teaching approach is centered around fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. I believe in tailoring each lesson to the individual needs of the student, whether they are just starting out or looking to refine advanced techniques. By focusing on both technical skills and musical expression, I aim to help students build a solid foundation while also exploring their unique musical interests.
In addition to technical proficiency, I emphasize the importance of performance skills and confidence. I encourage students to perform regularly, whether through informal settings or recorded performances, to help them develop stage presence and overcome performance anxiety. This approach not only improves their playing but also prepares them for real-world opportunities.
