About ʟɛxʏ
My name is Alaa Qurt. I‘m an ESL teacher at Hazelgreen Elementary School. This is my ninth year teaching at district 126. I taught for four years at Stony Creek School and this is my fifth year teaching at Hazelgreen! I truly enjoy working with the students and staff! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Birzeit University in Palestine. Then, I have earned my Master’s degree in education from Saint Xavier University. Later, I decided to pursue my education by attending Concordia University and from there I earned my ESL, bilingual and middle school endorsements. I believe that all students are capable of learning and I hope to make a difference in the lives of all my students.
