About Lata
I’m a math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I specialize in helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. Many students struggle not just with solving problems but with explaining their ideas clearly. That’s where I focus my teaching—breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts. I work closely with students to help them write coherent mathematical arguments. This skill is essential for university essays, research papers, and presentations. I guide them in organizing their thoughts logically and presenting solutions in a way that makes sense to others. My teaching approach is relaxed and focused on making math easy and useful in real life. I believe math is more than just numbers — it’s a way to understand the world, especially in today’s digital age. I teach core math subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and also dive into areas related to computer science, such as discrete mathematics, coding logic, algorithmic thinking, and understanding computational processes.
I use programming analogies to explain concepts clearly. This helps students see how math connects to technology and everyday problem-solving. Whether you are curious about algorithms or want to grasp the basics of coding logic, my lessons are designed to be practical and engaging.
I work closely with students who enjoy designing solutions and those who like to analyze problems deeply. They learn to communicate their ideas naturally and confidently about complex computational challenges. My goal is to help every student excel by building strong foundations and encouraging questions.
