About Shravani
I am a dedicated piano teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, which has given me a strong foundation in music and technique. My teaching philosophy centres on active participation and understanding the musical intent behind every piece. I believe in nurturing well-rounded musicianship by combining history, theory, technique, and creativity in every lesson. I adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are a beginner just starting out, an advanced player refining your skills, or a professional seeking expert guidance, I tailor lessons to help you grow. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to inspire a deep connection with music. I have helped students develop confidence and joy in playing the piano, no matter their level. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong keyboard technique while making lessons enjoyable and engaging. I emphasise ear training to help students recognise notes, chords, and rhythms by listening. Performance skills are also important, so I prepare learners to play confidently in front of others. Applying music theory alongside practice helps students understand how music works and improves their overall musicianship. I tailor lessons to support both advanced young learners and adult hobbyists, ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace. For younger students with natural talent, I focus on challenging pieces and refining technique carefully. For adult learners, I make sure lessons are fun and relevant, encouraging steady improvement without pressure. I use a mix of traditional exercises and creative activities to keep learning dynamic. Regular practice and positive feedback help build confidence and motivation. My goal is to help every student develop a love for piano and reach their personal best. Whether preparing for performances or playing for enjoyment, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll make music learning a rewarding experience.
