About Benedict
I am a professional singing tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds, including schoolchildren, college students, and working professionals. I am dedicated to helping students discover their voice, build technical skills, and develop confidence in both learning and performing music.
My teaching methodology is student-focused and flexible. I use practical exercises, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques to teach vocal skills such as pitch accuracy, breath control, vocal tone, and projection. I also focus on performance aspects, including stage presence, expression, and audience engagement, helping students sing with emotion and confidence. Music theory, rhythm, and sight-reading are incorporated to ensure a comprehensive understanding of music.
I tailor lessons to each student’s goals and level. Beginners are provided with supportive guidance to develop a strong foundation, while advanced students are challenged to refine technique, prepare for performances, and enhance artistic expression. I also offer strategies to overcome obstacles such as stage anxiety or inconsistent practice, ensuring steady improvement.
I create a positive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their voice, take creative risks, and achieve tangible progress. My aim is to help students not only improve technically but also foster a lifelong love for music and self-expression through singing.

My teaching methodology for Singing is practical, student-centred, and based on real understanding of the voice. I believe that students learn best when they can relate singing techniques to real life, so I use real-life examples and case studies from songs, performances, and everyday voice use to explain breathing, pitch, tone, and expression. I teach with empathy, understanding that many students feel shy, nervous, or uncertain about their singing ability, and I create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
My teaching style is flexible, allowing me to adapt lessons, exercises, and practice plans according to the student’s vocal range, learning speed, and personal goals. Clear communication is a key part of my approach, and I explain concepts in simple language with demonstrations and supportive feedback. Using a problem-solving approach, I help students identify vocal issues and improve them step by step. Along with Singing, I also teach relevant subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, rhythm, vocal care, and performance skills.
