About Gilles
Having spent three years in music school from 7 to 10 years old (classical guitar, solfège, singing), I studied folk guitar at home for several years. Then, teenager, I learned the electric guitar, with several teachers. All this rich and eclectic luggage allowed me, at 17 years, to start teaching my passion. I continue my development alone and in groups and sometimes taking part in internships. Singer / guitarist / author / composer in the group Yemoja (folk group of Agen), I also have a good experience of the profession of musician (stage, studio ...).

I give courses for beginners wishing to discover this wonderful instrument that is the guitar. I can also bring more specific skills to people practicing guitar for a few years (intermediate level). I write music on tablature. My classes are made up of different little exercises to train fingers, grids of chords to discover new ones, ranges, real pieces interesting to learn. I take time to discuss "music" with my students to broaden their musical culture and know what they would like to learn in particular. From my experience as a musician, I can also, if necessary, teach how to compose a song and write a text on it. My styles of references: folk in general, blues, gypsy jazz, rock, a little flamenco.

Gilles a pris des cours de chant, de solfège et de guitare dans une école de musique pendant 3 ans puis a eu plusieurs cours à domicile pendant plusieurs années avec des musiciens qui enseignaient différents genre suivant l'évolution des goûts et des découvertes de Gilles. Il a donné un certain nombre de cours à des enfants, qui ont obtenu un bonne approche de l'instrument et du solfège.
Gilles aime le contact des enfants et travaille avec eux depuis quelques années.
