About Odin

I was born in Mexico, so Spanish is my native language. My academic background includes a degree in Sociology and a technical degree as a Programmer Analyst, providing me with a unique perspective to teach the language from both cultural and technical viewpoints.

I’ve had the privilege of traveling throughout Mexico, experiencing firsthand the country’s rich and diverse culture. I have also visited Latin American countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru, gaining a deep understanding of the regional variations of Spanish. My travels to Canada and the United States have further enriched my appreciation of intercultural dynamics.

I’m passionate about thought-provoking films and books that explore the human experience, as they help expand my perspectives on life. I firmly believe that learning a language goes beyond mere words; it’s about engaging in meaningful conversations that open doors to new ways of thinking and understanding the world.

If you're looking to learn Spanish in a comprehensive way—connecting the language with culture, technology, and enriching conversations—I would be delighted to guide you on this exciting journey. Let’s embark on this adventure together!

About the lesson

Dicen que: "hablando se entiende la gente" and I believe that’s exactly what learning a language is about: talking about everyday and interesting things, about deep and reflective topics, about a great movie or an adventure in an exotic country. It’s about sharing and listening to experiences from places where culture presents a different version of what we consider everyday life, reflecting on the ultimate meaning of the human experience.

And what better way to learn a language than by discussing topics that offer a fresh perspective, that enrich our understanding of daily life, and remind us that 'every mind is a world'?

That’s what I offer: an engaging conversation where, through a language as rich and abundant in forms of expression as Spanish, we can enrich not only our vocabulary but also our minds."
